Mardi Gras Weekend in the Entertainment Weekend
Usher March in by celebrating Mardi Gras in the Entertainment District on Saturday, March 1. Celebrations kick-off Thursday, February 27, and will include theme parties and drink specials in the district's seven venues.
Dr. Seuss' "The Cat in the Hat" at the Civic Auditorium
Relive your childhood as one of Dr. Seuss' classic tales is staged during the Civic Youth Theatre's production of "The Cat in the Hat" March 14-21. Young and old are sure to enjoy the mischievous cat's hijinks as youth performers take the stage.
Kalamazoo Living History Show
Feeling like an interesting and educational weekend? Stop by the Kalamazoo County Expo Center for the 39th annual Kalamazoo Living History Show on March 15-16. More than 10,000 re-enactors from the French and Indian War through the Civil War will be on-hand as well as craftsmen, dealers, and history buffs.
St. Patrick's Day Green Ice Game with the K-Wings
Enjoy a bit of green beer as you watch the K-Wings take on the Orlando Solar Bears during the 33rd annual St. Patrick's Day Green Ice Game on Monday, March 17. The event promises green ice, green beer, and great fun for the whole family!
U2 Laser Show at the Kalamazoo Valley Museum Planetarium
Take in some of U2's classic tracks, including "With or Without You" and "Where the Streets Have No Name," in a new way as a laser light show displays all around you in the Kalamazoo Valley Museum's planetarium. The show opens Friday, March 28, at 8 p.m.
